Habana Works boogies with Tri Lox!

This summer, Habana Work’s design program, Urban Studio Brooklyn (USBK) teamed up with Tri Lox, a Brooklyn based collective of artists to construct a beautiful, sustainable garden at a local school in the heart of Bed-Stuy. Tri Lox was kind enough to assist with the sourcing process and hold tool safety workshops for the the design students who participated. On their December 1st blog post, Tri Lox wrote:  “The USBK team was a fantastic group to work with!”

Tri Lox is composed of  craftsmen and environmentalists who transform reclaimed materials into handcrafted objects and architectural elements. Check them out!

Santa is coming to Fort Greene

Santa's Village at Habana Outpost

My Brooklyn Baby and Habana Outpost are teaming up once again to bring you SANTA’S VILLAGE! December 10th and 11th from 11am – 4pm  bring your tots down to Habana Outpost to get their photo taken with Santa and stay to make make Christmas crafts and sip some hot chocolate. $15 per child includes a photo session with Santa, 4 prints to take home (4X6″), arts and crafts session, and a goodie bag. See you there!

Habana Outpost is located at 757 Fulton Street (across the street from My Brooklyn Baby)

Chicago-born rapper, actor and health conscious foodie Common lets us in on one of his little secrets: Cafe Habana is his favorite New York restaurant!
