Cafe Habana Dubai offers comfort for all its patrons. It has a slightly different decor then the original Cafe Habana in Nolita, but it offers the same great taste when it comes to the food. This Sunday, Sean Meenan will host a special brunch to honor all the fabulous mothers of Brooklyn and beyond at Habana Outpost. From 11am to 1pm there will be FREE arts and crafts, activities and photo fun for those moms with young children. If you are looking for a cool place to take your mom, come to Habana for a 8pm outdoor showing of the classic chick flick “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. Momma needs a corn, cuban and margarita to make her mother’s day complete. See you at Habana!
Habana Outpost had their first garden harvest of the season! Urban gardening is on the rise and we pride ourselves on growing our own herbs to use in our food. This weekend we used our Habana grown Thyme to add some love to our black beans. This season you can find cilantro, peppers, mint, and habanero peppers lingering in our herb garden. Make sure to stop and take a look at the herbs your eating next time you are in Habana, but for now you can check out the pics below.
On wednesday May 1st Habana Outpost had a visit from the Girl Scout Daisy’s! They were super excited to learn about the different ways in which Habana Outpost stays environmentally friendly. Sean Meenan and Habana Outpost presents movies under the stars every sunday at 8pm. This year we will kick off the season with The Warriors, starring Michael Beck, James Remar and Dorsey Wright. This 1979 film is a Brooklyn classic and will have you jumping out of your seat. Make sure to come early, grab your corn, cuban and margarita and find a cozy spot in the courtyard. Sean Meenan and Habana Works are proud to kick off this year’s Kid’s Corner! Every Saturday and Sunday bring the kid’s to Habana Outpost between 11am-3pm to enjoy FREE arts and crafts. Kid’s Corner is a weekend program that offers free creative crafts and workshops that teach environmentalism, wellness and community to neighborhood children.
